This Privacy Policy explains how Jody Saputra ("Calura," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Calura mobile application (the "App"). By using Calura, you agree to this Policy.
A note on your health: Calura is a wellness and calorie-tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or have a medical condition.
1. Who we are
Calura is operated by Jody Saputra, based in Indonesia. If you have any questions about this Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the App.
Information you provide
- Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier and, if you allow it, your name and email address. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email," we receive only a private relay address. You may also use the App without an account (local-only mode).
- Profile information: Age, height, weight, goal, activity level, and dietary preference, used to calculate your targets.
- Menstrual cycle information (optional): If you choose to provide it, your last period date, average cycle length, and period length. This is sensitive health data. It is optional — the App works fully without it.
- Food, weight, water, and wellness logs: The meals and amounts you log, weight and water entries, and self-reported "Body Signals" (mood, bloat, skin check-ins).
- Meal photos and text descriptions (AI features): If you use AI meal logging, the photo or text description you submit is processed to estimate the food's calories and macros.
Information from Apple Health (optional)
- If you connect Apple Health, we read data you authorize (such as steps, sleep, body weight, and active energy) and write data you log in Calura (such as dietary energy, macros, weight, and workout energy). You control this in the Health app and in Calura's settings, and the App works fully without it.
Information collected automatically
- Basic, non-identifying diagnostic and usage information needed to keep the App stable (for example, error logs and app version). We do not use this for advertising.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
